Class Duration: 5 hours total
Schedule: 2 days (4 hours instruction • 1 hour certification)

Learn how to operate a professional embroidery machine using the XT Pro1501. This course teaches students how to hoop garments, select stabilizers, thread the machine, adjust tension, and complete embroidery designs from start to finish. Students will practice on shirts, beanies, bags, and tote bags while learning real production techniques and essential maintenance skills. This class does not include digitizing or creating custom DST files—students must bring a ready-made DST file or choose from the sample designs provided.

Day 01

Embroidery Fundamentals (4 Hrs)

What You’ll Learn

  • Embroidery machine safety and operation
  • Understanding stabilizers: tear-away, cut-away, wash-away
  • Choosing the correct stabilizer for different materials
  • Hooping shirts, beanies, bags, and tote bags correctly
  • Threading the XT Pro1501 and adjusting tension
  • Loading DST files via USB or selecting preset designs
  • Running a full stitch-out from beginning to end
  • Fixing thread breaks and trimming jump stitches
  • Managing bobbin changes and bobbin tension
  • Performing basic machine maintenance: oiling, lint removal, and daily care
  • Completing a finished embroidered item to take home

Note: This class does not teach digitizing or DST file creation.

Day 02

Review & Certification Test (3 Hrs)

What You’ll do

  • 1 Hour of Review
  • Hoop and stabilize a garment independently
  • Load a DST file and set machine parameters correctly
  • Thread the machine and adjust tension as needed
  • Run a clean, professional-quality stitch-out
  • Demonstrate proper safety, troubleshooting, and machine handling
  • Submit your final embroidered item for evaluatio
